Postponement of the 2020 IFTM trade show. Next edition from 5 to 8 October 2021

GMF news - World Trade Fair Guide. Turin, September 21, 2020 – The ongoing health crisis is unfortunately continuing to impact us, as events with over 5.000 people remain prohibited until at least late October, the number of coronavirus cases continues to rise, new border closures have been announced, quarantine measures are being implemented and the Paris region has been declared a ‘red zone’.
Due to the current context and circumstances, the 2020 edition of the INTERNATIONAL FRENCH TRAVEL MARKET - IFTM trade show, due to take place from 17 to 20 November 2020 at Porte de Versailles in Paris, cannot go ahead as planned by REED EXPOSITIONS.
After much consideration, we have therefore decided to postpone the 42nd edition of the IFTM trade show to 2021.
“Given the ongoing situation and its impact on the travel industry, the IFTM trade show cannot be held in
2020” announced Portfolio Director Alain Bagnaud.
“This is a difficult yet necessary decision. I would like to take the opportunity to once again thank our customers and partners for their business, their loyalty and unwavering contribution to the IFTM trade show. Our team is more committed than ever to continuing to support you, and to work together on the next edition of IFTM, which will take place from 5 October to 8 October 2021 at Hall 1, Porte de Versailles in Paris” says Frédéric Lorin, Director of the IFTM trade show.
