International Exhibition Interpolitex as the New Level of Solution of the State Security Tasks

Turin, August 25, 2020 – According to the Decree of the Russian Federation Government No. 795-? of 30.03.2020 the Federal Service of the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation (Russian Guard) is determined as the main organizer of the 24th International Exhibition of Means of State Security Provision “Interpolitex 2020”.
The Service was organized in 2016. The Service consists of various military and police units, which perform functions of the state military organization intended for ensuring of the state and public security, protection of the rights and freedoms of persons and citizens. At present there is eight operational – territorial units of the Federal National Guard Troops in various regions of the country.
Along with the tasks of ensuring public security, the most important tasks of the Russian Guard units are participation in the territorial defense of the Russian Federation, assistance to the border servicies in protecting the state border of the Russian Federation, and ensuring the safety of senior officials of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
For more than 20 years, the Interpolitex International Exhibition has been presenting on its site up-to-date items and models of weapons, military and special equipment designed for protection of public order, ensuring public security, countering terrorism and extremism, conducting counter-terrorism operations, protecting important state facilities and special cargoes, especially important and sensitive objects.
Designation of the Russian Guard Service as the main organizer of the exhibition poses a new level of tasks for demonstrating modern technologies and developments intended for equipping Russian Guard troops, expanding the thematic spectrum of the exposition in terms of defense technologies and special means of ensuring the security of senior officials, expanding the range and profile of specialized “Border” exposition held at the site of Interpolitex Exhibition.
The exhibition profile will be supplemented by the specialized exposition held in the interests of the EMERCOM of Russia, which became one of the organizers of the exhibition in 2020.
The new level of tasks facing the Russian Guard Service, the Federal Security Service of Russia and the EMERCOM of Russia - the organizers of the exhibition held within the framework of the Interpolitex-2020 International Exhibition, will allow Russian and foreign developers and manufacturers to present the whole range of state security technologies on a single platform.
The 24th International Exhibition of Means of State Security Provision “Interpolitex 2020” will be held in Moscow in the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre VDNH, Pavilion 55, 57 from 20 to 23 October 2020.
