Iteca Exhibitions: Summing up Results of the Year

Turin, January 8, 2020 – The statistics shown by the 2019 exhibition season’s performance indicators have once again proved the leadership of Iteca Exhibitions Company in Uzbekistan’s exhibition market. This year’s figures look extraordinary showing a record number of exhibition areas, participants, participating countries, and visitors!
The three exhibitions – UzBuild, TIHE, and OGU – have once again proved their compliance with the world’s highest business event standards, which is evidenced by the data of the exhibition audit performed this spring.
The ‘UFI Approved Event’ label indicates high organization level of the events and their impact on business development and industry growth, and also confirms the reliability of the statistics.
The outgoing year is also notable for applying the practice of public-private partnership in the energy and textile sectors. Within the framework of such kind of partnership with the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan, the exhibition and conference were organized and held in in Tashkent in May, which brought together worldwide renowned scientists and leading experts in the field of energy.
The above exhibition and conference were followed by UzTextileExpo, the autumn season exhibition. As part of Global Textile Days Tashkent 2019, Uzbekistan’s textile, garment, and knitwear industry major event, another exhibition and conference were held in cooperation with Uztekstilprom Association.
Such a synergy contributes to a greater outcome of exhibitions as it brings together high-level government officials – those who determine the vector of the industry development – and the business community leaders who have the experience and necessary capacities to implement important projects. The exhibition participants held B2G and B2B meetings with representatives of ministries and departments and business partners where they discussed the issues important for the further development of cooperation. All these are to strengthen the existing partnerships and expand the boundaries of international cooperation indicating Uzbekistan’s becoming an important player in the global business community.
Looking back on the important events of the year, it should be noted that Iteca Exhibitions, as a socially oriented company, has joined the Green Office Programme thus supporting the environment liability initiative aimed to reduce pollution of the environment.
Currently, Iteca Exhibitions is actively preparing for the 2020 exhibition season, which is expected to be quite eventful in regards to anniversary exhibitions. The new exhibition season will open on February 25 with UzBuild, its first event, which is Uzbekistan’s largest world-class construction exhibition.
