GMF news - World Trade Fair Guide. Turin, August 30, 2019 – The next edition of Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair ( SF&LF), that will be held Feb 4-8 2020, is a not to be missed event for all lovers of Scandinavian design and furnishings.
Next year the fair will turn 70 years and it doesn't seem to show its age! Instead, as time goes by, the event continues to be enriched with novelties and it continuously attracts more and more international attention.
Since the start in 1951, Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair has managed to evolve from a fair dedicated to local furniture into an event of international interest with about 700 exhibitors and over 37.000 visitors from 100 countries, ranging from Spain to Japan.
With 80% of the exhibitors being Scandinavian it ensures the visitors an overview of the very latest trends and designs in Scandinavian design.
For the 2020 edition, on the occasion of its 70th anniversary, SF&LF is reinventing itself with a new layout: 3 pavilions of the same level able to guarantee each exhibitor the same volume of visitors, both in terms of number and quality.
The Contract & Home, Home Furniture & Lighting categories (previously housed in Hall C), are now moving to Hall B (that previously housed Contract Market & Design).
Hall A will still be dedicated to Contract Market & Design.
