GMF news - World Trade Fair Guide. Turin, July 19, 2019 – It's still some time away, but many exhibitors are already taking the opportunity to secure their stand space for the next SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN trade fair. From 13 to 17 September 2021, this leading event showcasing joining, cutting and surfacing technologies will take place at Messe Essen. Companies such as Welspring Universal, Orbitec GmbH, Electrex, BM Group International and Ermaksan are amongst the first companies to have registered for the fair. Interested companies can find the registration documents on www.schweissen-schneiden.com – the registration deadline is 30 April 2020.
“We are very pleased that a great many companies have already registered for the next fair. It tells us that we have once again hit bull’s eye with our programme” enthused Christina Kleinpaß, Project Leader at Messe Essen for SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN. Serhan Senyurt, Managing Director of the Turkish company Ermaksan, which is taking part for the first time, is also excited about the sequence of events and the programme: “As we primarily focus on fibre laser cutting technologies, and our laser sources are also used for welding technologies, it’s as if Messe Essen had planned the trade fair with us in mind”.

At SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN, companies present their products and services involving the latest joining, cutting and surfacing technologies. Every four years, the event takes the top spot as the international industry meeting point. John Schneider, Managing Director of Orbitec GmbH, sums it up: “We have been taking part in SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN for 40 years now. As we operate on an international level, this event – as a leading global trade fair – is simply unmissable for us.” Around 50,000 visitors from more than 120 countries, as well as more than 1,000 exhibitors took part in the last SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN trade fair in 2017. The event was also very successful for the Portuguese welding equipment manufacturer Electrex. Electrex was the first exhibitor to sign up for 2021, straight after registration opened. Company leader Joao Francisco Matos: “We value the direct contact and the opportunity to tap into new markets and segments. Based on the positive experience we had at the last event, we’ve booked a stand of twice the size for the next one. We're already looking forward to presenting our new products and services to the customers and to the world.”
